How Do Bulk Uniform Orders Work?

Once an order passes a few hundred pieces the difficulty stops being price and becomes logistics. Minimums are set by branding method rather than order value: embroidery starts at 10 pieces, screen printing at 100 per design, and DTF has no minimum. That matters because a thousand piece rollout split across twelve departments with different logos is really twelve smaller runs and prices like it. Four steps keep a large order on track. Send a size set before confirming quantities. Phase delivery by site or department rather than dropping everything at once. Build a buffer of common sizes for new starters. Lock the specification, fabric, weight, colour and digitised logo, so year two matches year one. We produce up to 1,000 pieces a day from our Ajman factory.

Large Orders Fail on Logistics, Not Price

Once an order passes a few hundred pieces, the difficulty stops being the quote and becomes everything around it. Sizes have to be right across sites that never meet. Garments have to arrive without disrupting operations. New starters have to receive the same uniform six months later. None of that is solved by a lower unit price.

Buying direct from the factory is what makes it manageable. There is no reseller between you and the people cutting the cloth, so a mid order correction takes hours rather than passing through two companies first.

01

Size set first

One garment per size sent ahead so staff can try them on. On a large rollout this prevents more cost than it creates, every time.

02

Phase the delivery

Site by site or department by department, rather than dropping the whole order at once. Easier to distribute and easier to correct if something is wrong.

03

Build a buffer

A margin of the most common sizes for new starters, damage and loss. Without it every new hire triggers a reorder.

04

Lock the specification

Fabric, GSM, colour and logo file recorded so reorders match. This is what keeps year two looking like year one.

Minimums Are Set by Method, Not by Order Value

A common misunderstanding on bulk enquiries is that a large order unlocks every branding method. It does not. Screen printing needs 100 pieces per design because each colour needs its own screen. Embroidery starts at 10 because there is no screen to make.

That matters when a large order contains many small groups. A thousand piece rollout split across twelve departments with different logos is really twelve small runs, and it prices like twelve small runs unless the artwork is consolidated. Tell us the split at enquiry stage and we will structure the quote around it rather than surprising you later.

Where a rollout mixes garment types, expect a mix of methods too. Embroidered polos, screen printed tees and DTF for the short run items is a normal and sensible combination.

Minimums

  • Embroidery: 10 pieces
  • Screen printing: 100 pieces per design
  • DTF and vinyl: no minimum
  • Sublimation: suits full kit runs

Bulk Order FAQs

What is your minimum for a bulk uniform order?

Minimums are set by branding method rather than order value. Embroidery starts at 10 pieces, screen printing at 100 per design, and DTF and vinyl have no meaningful minimum. A large order containing many different logos prices as several smaller runs.

How quickly can you produce a large order?

We run up to 1,000 pieces a day, with 3 to 4 days under 100 pieces and 3 to 7 days on a full bulk run, so volume alone does not push a rollout into weeks. Allow additional time at the start for artwork approval and a size set.

Can you deliver a large order in phases?

Yes, and we usually recommend it for multi site rollouts. Phasing by site or department makes distribution manageable and means a problem caught early affects one batch rather than the whole order.

Will our uniform still be available when we reorder?

We record the fabric, weight, colour and digitised logo so repeat orders match the original. Because we manufacture rather than buy in, the specification is ours to hold rather than dependent on a third party still stocking it.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Unit price falls as quantity rises because setup costs spread across the run. The largest per unit savings come in the early increases rather than at very high volumes. Send the quantity and split by role and we will price it directly.

How much buffer stock should we order?

A margin of the most common sizes, sized to your expected intake and turnover. Without a buffer every new starter triggers a reorder, which costs more in setup and delay than the spare garments would have.

Send the headcount and the split

Roles, sites and how many logos are involved. We will structure the quote around the split rather than pricing it as one run and surprising you later.
