What Public Sector Procurement Actually Needs
Government uniform contracts are judged differently from commercial ones. Price matters, but consistency, documentation and the ability to supply the same garment in three years time usually matter more. A supplier who cannot evidence those things struggles at the tender stage regardless of quote.
Specification consistency
The same fabric, colour and cut across every department and every reorder. Because we manufacture rather than buy in, the specification is ours to hold rather than a supplier we depend on.
Documented compliance
Where roles involve flame, arc or visibility risk, the standard the garment meets should be stated on paper. We specify to NFPA 2112, EN ISO 11612 and EN ISO 20471 and confirm which applies before production.
Volume without delay
Large public sector rollouts arrive all at once. At 1,000 pieces a day we can absorb a department wide order without pushing the schedule out by weeks.
Government Uniforms by Role
Public sector teams cover a wider range of conditions than almost any private employer, so specifications are set role by role rather than department wide.

Branding, Rank and Department Identification
Government uniforms usually carry more identification than commercial ones: an authority crest, a department name, a rank or grade marking and often an employee number. Embroidery handles all of it, and at a 10 piece minimum a small department can be outfitted without waiting for a bulk run.
Where garments are flame resistant, this identification has to be applied with FR certified aramid thread and emblems, which we hold in stock. Standard thread can compromise the certification the garment was bought for. On high visibility garments we plan crest and department placement around the certified fluorescent area rather than applying it afterwards.

Government Uniform FAQs
Do you supply government uniforms for public tenders?
Yes. Because we manufacture rather than buy in and rebrand, we can hold a specification consistently across departments and across reorders, which is normally what a public sector tender is testing for alongside price.
Can you meet a written specification exactly?
Yes, and we prefer to work from one. Send the fabric, weight, colour and any certification requirement and we will confirm in writing what we can meet before quoting rather than after.
Will the same uniform be available for reorders in future years?
This should be confirmed at the quoting stage, and we do confirm it. Manufacturing in house means the fabric and cut are ours to hold rather than dependent on whatever a third party supplier still stocks.
Can you brand flame resistant government workwear?
Yes, using FR certified aramid thread and emblems held in stock. Standard polyester thread is not FR rated and can compromise certification under NFPA 2112 or EN ISO 11612, so it should never be used on certified garments.
How large an order can you handle?
We produce up to 1,000 pieces per day, with a standard turnaround of 3 to 4 days under 100 pieces and 3 to 7 days on bulk runs, and deliver across all seven emirates from our Ajman factory.
Can uniforms carry rank, department and employee numbers?
Yes. Embroidery handles crests, department names, rank markings and individual employee numbers, and our 10 piece minimum means small departments are not forced into a bulk order.
Working to a tender specification?
Send the specification document. We will confirm in writing what we can meet, including any certification requirement, before we quote.
